Receptionist - Urbana Clinic FT 32 hours per week, 8:30 - 5:30 Monday & Friday and 8:30 - 4:00 Tuesday and Thursday with rotating Saturday mornings. The organization includes a 25-bed hospital and four family medical clinics located throughout Benton County, Iowa, offering high-quality, local healthcare and opportunities for professional growth and meaningful patient relationships.

AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Wait on patients as quickly as possible or acknowledge their presence. Obtain, verify and enter demographic and insurance information correctly on new and established patients, which is necessary for completion of medical record information and insurance claim processing at each patient visit.

Make sure a copy of the insurance card and photo ID are scanned in the system.

High school or vocational school graduate. Previous office experience preferred. Understanding of medical terminology and insurance practices is helpful.
