Recovery Peer Specialist

✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Valid Florida driver’s license required.
Certifications
✓BLS and First Aid Certification required within 90 days of hire.
✓Must be eligible for Florida Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) Provisional Certification.
✓CRPS certification required within one year of hire. (Lee Health provides training and support to help eligible employees obtain CRPS certification within their first year.)
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent required.
Qualifications
✓Lived experience in recovery and a passion for supporting others.
✓Ability to demonstrate competency in advocacy, mentoring, recovery support, and professional responsibility .
✓Must pass required background and fingerprinting checks.
