As a Recovery Specialist, you will provide non-clinical individual and group support to develop a recovery care plan, educate individuals on recovery models and cultivate supportive tools to enhance recovery. The Recovery Specialist will work closely with the individual’s multidisciplinary care team and community-based organizations to connect patients with additional recovery support services that best fit their needs.

This Per Diem position requires a flexible schedule to work 7:30pm- 7:00am shifts. You hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the guiding principles of recovery that help individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and reach their full potential. You are able to travel within a 60-mile radius of the assigned hospital for cross coverage when needed.
You hold or are able to obtain, within 6 months of employment, a Nationally Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) certification through the NAADAC organization. Bilingual ability, previous experience as a Recovery Specialist or in a related role, and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook are preferred.
