Conducts the therapeutic recreational/activity program under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides and documents care to patients in accordance with the treatment plan and established SRH and Nursing Services Policies and Standard Work. Functions in a supportive role by communicating findings and resolving work-related issues.
Plans and implements patient group and individual activities as identified in the patient treatment plan by utilizing current evidence-based practices for the identified populations. Employs leisure activities to help patients with emotional and mental disorders. Utilizes de-escalation and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) techniques.
Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director
