Full-Time Day Shift with every third weekend and holiday rotation required. A Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in his/her professional responsibilities in providing pharmacy services. Working under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, participates in the preparation, dispensing, distribution and return of patient specific medications including intravenous admixtures, supplies and maintains automated technology equipment, packages unit of use dosages, maintains and transports pharmaceuticals, and performs tasks associated with regulatory compliance.
Documents activities as indicated and performs other duties as required. High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education Experience Relevant experience Certification and Licensure National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required upon hire or within the first 12 months of employment
