Certifications
Professional HR certification, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP- preferred
Education
✓Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
Qualifications
✓Master s a plus but not required
✓Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations
✓Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical HR guidance
✓Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, educate, and build trust at all organizational levels
✓Exceptional judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality
✓Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 with ability to analyze date and produce compliance related reports
✓Develop and deliver training for managers and HR staff on employment law fundamentals in designated region
✓Create tools, job aids, and FAQs to help managers understand and apply laws consistently in day-to-day decision-making
✓Risk Mitigation & Case Support
✓Review sensitive employee relations cases and provide recommendations aligning with both compliance obligations and organizational values
✓Partner with HR Investigations team and counsel on escalated issues, regulatory agency responses -EEOC, DOL, state agencies-, and litigation support as needed

What you’ll do
Monitor and interpret changesMonitor and interpret changes in federal, state, and local employment laws across the assigned region
