A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who works under the supervision of a BCBA. The RBT is primarily responsible for direct implementation of treatment plans related to skill-acquisition and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis for children/youth with Autism and related developmental disabilities. RBT’s also collect data and provide support when needed including assisting with parent training.
High school diploma or equivalent Registered Behavior Technician training and successfully completed certification program upon hire or within 6 months of start date Experience working with children in the 0-18 age range ideally in a classroom or 1:1 setting
