About the role

Uses knowledge of dietetics to assess, evaluate, make recommendations, establish, and implement individual nutrition care plans appropriate for all types of patients. Provides nutrition education in both individual and group settings for all aspects of normal and/or therapeutic nutrition. In addition, it provides consultation and education to the staff individually or in groups.
