You’ll need
Licensure
✓Must possess a current, active license to practice as a dietitian in Oklahoma.
✓This is true even if the applicant is in possession of a valid medical marijuana card that otherwise allows the license-holder to legally use and consume medical marijuana.
Certifications
✓Oklahoma food handlers permit required.
✓Bloodborne pathogen training required.

Education
✓Graduate Degree
B achelor’s degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university. 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare related foodservice setting preferred.
Qualifications
✓Communication skills including fluency in oral and written English.
✓Basic computer skills including the ability to navigate information technology associated with the position.
✓Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
✓Ability to remain flexible to quickly adapt to urgent situations.
✓Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position.
✓Knowledge of proper and safe food preparation, food handling regulations, and best practices.
✓Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
✓Must be able to support both hospitals in Duncan and Waurika, Oklahoma.
✓Must maintain a positive attitude; communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect, maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, patients, and customers. Provide clear directions and complete assignments in a timely manner.
✓Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to perform basic food preparation, use safe sanitary practices at all times, and provide dietary services appropriate to specific needs of patients.
✓Must be able to perform reading comprehension and use math skills when following and calculating recipes.
✓Ability to read, interpret and apply policies, procedures and legal requirements.
✓For those positions requiring travel, a current valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance must be maintained.
