Licensure
✓R.EEG.T. or equivalent (such as R.EP.T. or R.PSG.T.) required.
✓Possession of the skills and knowledge required by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) for national board certification.
Education
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Previous education in life science or allied health field preferrable. Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technology Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or equivalent. preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of three (3) years performing standard and complex neurodiagnostic procedures required. Long-term monitoring (LTM) in an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) a plus.
✓Proficiency with the International 10-20 System of Electrode Placement.
✓Ability to perform collodion electrode application beneficial.
✓Ability to deal with critically ill adult and pediatric patients in ICU settings.
✓Proficient in working with and troubleshooting the sophisticated computerized equipment required to perform multimodal neurodignostic procedures.
