You’ll need
Certifications
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
✓Must be current, and maintain, a Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) registration through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET)
Education
✓Completion of a healthcare program in a clinical area (i.e., Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, etc.).
✓High School diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Related experience with healthcare equipment in a hospital/healthcare setting.
✓Effective oral and written communication skills.
✓Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.
✓Basic knowledge of or ability to learn various electroencephalographic procedures and processes.
✓Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
Two years of experience as an EEG technologist, preferably in a hospital setting. preferred
Bilingual, English and Spanish Preferred.
