• $25.32 - $39.99 per hour, based on experience
• Shift Differentials: o Additional $2.00 per hour for evening shift o Additional $4.00 per hour for night shift o Additional $3.00 per hour for weekend shift
• Retention Rewards: Up to $15,000 o Relocation Support: Additional $5,000 if moving from over 50 miles away o Retention Reward (Option 1): $2,000 per year for up to 5 years, totaling $10,000 o Student Loan Repayment (Option 2): $2,000 per year toward student loans, up to 5 years, totaling $10,000

ABOUT THE JOB MU Health Care is looking for a dedicated Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our team and play a vital role in our Electroencephalogram and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. As a Neurodiagnostic Technician, you will perform routine testing procedures and work closely with a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist to ensure the highest quality of patient care. • Explain test procedures to patients prior to the studies and provide for psychological needs while in the laboratory to obtain quality test results. Differentiate the quality of procedure and patient cooperation for interpretive analysis.
• Perform scoring and long-term monitoring review.
• Communicate the patient's psychological status and environmental conditions during the procedure to the physician for consideration in interpreting test results.
• Adapt test methods and instrumentation to obtain optimal patient results.
• Clean, calibrate, and process neurophysiology equipment. Report equipment and supply needs to leadership.
• Recognize medically emergent situations and take appropriate actions.
• Complete necessary documentation and billing.
• Perform limited office, secretarial, and patient transport duties.
• Meet all Patient Family Centered Care standards and patient experience goals.
• May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Registration in one of the following: o Electroencephalographic (R.EEG T.), Evoked Potential (R. EPT.), or o Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) certification by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET); or o Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists (BRPT); or o Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist ( R.NCS.T. ) by the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technicians (AAET); or o Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).

• Graduation from an accredited neurodiagnostic program. • Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
