✓Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required upon hire
Certifications
✓Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire

✓Registered Nurse III: Specialty certification required upon hire.
✓External candidates may obtain certification within one year of hire
✓Nurses without Oncology Experience: Specialty certification in their area of clinical experience is highly encouraged within one year of hire
✓Experienced Oncology Nurses: OCN certification highly encouraged within one year of hire
✓Experienced Transplant Nurses: Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Certified Nurse ( TCTCN ) certification highly encouraged within one year of hire
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certification preferred
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited nursing program
BSN or higher preferred.
Qualifications
✓Nurses are required to complete a minimum of six oncology-related continuing education units (CEUs) annually. This requirement is waived for nurses who maintain TCTCN or OCN certification
✓A minimum of one year of recent acute-care RN experience may be considered for Registered Nurse II positions
✓Minimum of three years of recent acute-care RN experience in the applicable specialty for CNIII
✓Demonstrated working knowledge of applicable standards of practice
✓Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and the ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients, families, and healthcare colleague
✓Meets the clinical criteria and established protocols for the assigned Clinical Nurse level
✓Meets clinical criteria and protocol for Clinical Nurse assigned level.
