Licensure
✓Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Certifications
✓May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate.
✓Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
✓Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
Education
✓Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
bachelor's degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
✓Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
✓Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
✓Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
✓Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel. Preferred experience in the specialty.
