✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Current, unrestricted licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Certifications
✓Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification per Henry Ford Health policy.
✓Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard (e.g., Oncology Certified Nurse [OCN], Inpatient Obstetric Nurse [RNC-OB]).
Specialty certification in women's health nursing, obstetric nursing, or related field preferred.
Education
✓Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Qualifications
✓Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation. Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
✓Advanced clinical assessment and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective, evidence-based nursing care plans.
✓Demonstrated ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services with clinical excellence.
✓bility to effectively communicate complex health information with patients, families, and interdisciplinary medical team personnel.
✓Proven experience in patient education and health promotion within women's health specialties.
✓Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer knowledge with strong keyboarding skills.
✓Demonstrated leadership potential or prior experience mentoring and supervising nursing team members.
Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience in women's health, obstetrics, gynecology, or related ambulatory care setting preferred.
Experience collaborating on quality improvement initiatives or clinical research projects preferred.
