Licensure
✓Licensed as a Registered Nurse and authorized by the State of Iowa to practice nursing or has active multistate license approved by the Nurse Licensure Compact.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) training, or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
Professional certification in nursing specialty. preferred
Obtain certification in clinical area – CAPA or CPAN. preferred
Education
✓Achievement of Baccalaureate degree in nursing within 6 years of hire if hired after January 1, 2014.
