• Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes. • Surgical Care on a BRAND NEW unit! This dynamic 17-bed unit with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:5
• 6 that cares for adult patients ages 18 to 100 who are admitted for planned, elective surgical procedures across multiple specialties—including general surgery, orthopedics, hernias, foregut, and bariatric surgery. Our patients are unique because they typically arrive with a clear surgical plan and a recovery pathway focused on rapid mobilization, pain management, and discharge readiness.
