Day Shift l Part-time How you’ll make an impact in this role Coordinates clinical and administrative processes for patients through all phases of the transplant/mechanical circulatory support (MCS) implant continuum to include pre-transplant/implant evaluation, wait list management, transplantation/implantation and post-transplantation/implantation follow-up care. Educates patients, families and staff regarding transplantation/MCS implantation.
Completes data capture, analysis and reporting and other administrative functions required for transplant/MCS program operations. Actively participates in the quality agenda for transplant services as outlined by the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Collects and maintains time study data for purposes of reporting pre and post transplant time.
What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences: CVICU experience is highly preferred.
