You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Arkansas Registered Nurse Licensure.
Certifications
✓BLS/CPR required upon hire or prior to patient care.
✓ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
Education
✓High School diploma or equivalent required.
✓Technical Diploma in Nursing required.
✓Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Qualifications

✓Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✓Ability to work under pressure and manage patients in a fast paced environment
✓Strong knowledge in electronic documentation system
✓Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, with excellent critical thinking and decision making skills
✓Basic proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
✓Adequate verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
✓Basic flexibility to adapt to changes in patient conditions and unit priorities
Previous experience in surgical nursing, pre-operative care or other related field a plus preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in nursing preferred
Knowledge of preoperative procedures, medications, and patient safety protocols. preferred
Proficiency in electronic documentation systems preferred
