Join Indiana University Health’s Dermatology team at University Hospital, where you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a highly procedural academic medical dermatology practice. This full-time RN Ambulatory position offers the opportunity to support approximately 15 providers and learners while coordinating care, triaging patient needs, assisting with dermatologic procedures, supporting in-office surgery days, and educating patients throughout their care journey.

Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and occasional closing shifts as needed . Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.

Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies. Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner. Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
