Those requiring more extensive workups will be taken to one of the diagnostic rooms.Patients with critical injuries or illnesses are treated in one of 22 Emergent Care rooms, including three resuscitation rooms for the most severe trauma cases. Here’s what you needNursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferredCLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency requiredCurrent RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire requiredBCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredACLS – within 90 days requiredPALS – within 90 days requiredTNCC or ATCN – within 12 months of hire requiredCPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program requiredCurrent ED or ICU experience strongly preferred In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patientspossess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalismhave basic computer skills using medical management application systemsWhat You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
