Full Time; 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM Join Our Emergency Department Team. Our nurses are highly trained to care for patients across the lifespan. In the Emergency Department, they expertly perform bedside procedures, utilize critical trauma and medical equipment, and manage continuous bedside monitoring in most patient rooms to ensure accurate, real-time assessment.
ED nurses also administer vasoactive medications to support blood pressure and provide sedation for ventilated patients. With Rock Island serving as a Level II Trauma Center and Bettendorf as a Level IV Trauma Center, you’ll gain hands-on experience with a wide range of trauma acuity and complex cases. Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must possess and maintain ACLS *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
