As our Endoscopy Department continues to grow, we are seeking experienced and qualified nurses to join our team. Endoscopy provides comprehensive gastrointestinal endoscopic service to our patients.
More than 17,000 procedures are performed annually. Our nursing team provides comprehensive pre, intra, and post care to patients undergoing a wide variety of endoscopic procedures such as: + Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) for the evaluation and management of bile duct obstruction and gallstones. + Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) for the diagnosis of gastrointestinal submucosal tumors and staging of esophageal cancer, treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding using the latest hemostatic techniques, and expandable stent placement for treatment of strictures of the esophagus, duodenum and colon. + Radiofrequency Ablation and Cryotherapy + Per-Oral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM) + Routine endoscopies such as colonoscopy for colorectal screening and polyp surveillance and upper endoscopy for the evaluation for ulcers and acid reflux disease Our active esophageal motility laboratory performs esophageal manometry, and both catheter-based and Bravo-capsule based ambulatory esophageal pH monitoring.

- Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager/Tertiary Team Leader, the Registered Nurse practices within the Lahey Clinic Professional Practice Model, MA Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics and demonstrates Lahey Clinic’s core values that reflect its Mission. The nurse-patient/family relationship, continuity of care and accountability are central to the delivery of individualized high quality patient care. A Registered Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide expected standards of care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, spiritual, safety and age-appropriate considerations of patients. The Registered Nurse, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act of Massachusetts Rules & Regulations- 244 CMR 3.0, shall bear full and ultimate responsibility for the quality of nursing care he/she provides to individuals and groups. Included in such responsibility are health maintenance, teaching, counseling, collaborative planning and restoration of optimal functioning and comfort or for the dignified death of those they serve. $37.00 - $95.37 The
