Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
