Coordinate the development of a multidisciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource utilization, and quality outcomes. Provide patient education and support, addressing fears and anxiety through effective communication and teaching. Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform procedures such as dressing changes and blood glucose monitoring.
Monitor patient responses to interventions, recognizing and responding to acute changes in condition. Collaborate with case managers to ensure seamless discharge planning and appropriate follow-up care. Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Two years RN experience. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES: Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
BCLS/ACLS per unit's standard. Certifications appropriate for specific unit. PREFERRED
