About the department Cobleskill Regional Hospital is a small community hospital and a significant pillar within the Bassett Healthcare Network. Our 10-bed emergency department is newly renovated and provides care to approximately 11,000 patients annually and continues to grow. Join our patient-centered team of Board Certified Emergency Physicians, Nurses, and Patient Care Technicians to provide safe and quality patient care in this fast-pace and collegial work environment.

Our unit offers set schedules and has an embedded and active Unit Practice Council (UPC) which influences decisions that have direct impact on our patients, staff, and unit. The Cobleskill Regional Emergency Department is consistently hiring for Registered Nurses with various shift and position types available.

• The Registered Professional Nurse (RN), Acute Care in the Emergency Department is accountable for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process. The RN assesses, plans, delivers, coordinates, integrates, and evaluates nursing care related to patient’s needs. The RN contributes to the support of patients through interdisciplinary teamwork. Registered Nurse I: The RN I status is only appropriate for a new nurse in the first year of practice, as support from others in incorporated into this role as an expectation. Therefore, all RN I’s are expected to complete the requirements of the Nurse Residency program and complete the application and credentialing process for successful advancement to RN II by 12
• 15 months after hire. Salary Range: $39.01 - $58.51 per hour Registered Nurse II: The RN II status requires at least 1-year experience as a RN, if experience is not relevant, RN II must complete RN residency program. Salary Range: $40.58 - $60.87 per hour Registered Nurse III: The RN II status requires 3 years’ experience as an RN. One year of that experience must be within a relevant practice area. The RN III must be able to function as a preceptor, and it is preferred that the applicant have previous experience as a charge/resource nurse. Salary Range: $42.22 - $63.33 per hour Registered Nurse IV: the RN IV status requires 5 year’s RN experience. Applicants with an Associate’s Degree must have 3 out of the 5 years’ experience in a relevant practice area. Applicants with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree must have 2 of the 5 years’ experience in the relevant practice area. RNIV’s must be able to perform as a preceptor and must have certification in area of practice required (this requirement is waived for candidates with BSN or MSN degree). What we need from you

2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing, required or... Vocational / Technical Diploma Professional Nursing Program, required or... 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred All RN’s hired and do not currently hold a BSN will be expected to demonstrate enrollment in a bachelor’s prepared nursing program within 4 years of hire. BSN must be completed within 10 years.

RN’s licensed on or before 12/19/17 are/remain exempt from this requirement.

Pay Transparency Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. Minimum: USD $40.20/Hr.

Maximum: USD $59.52/Hr.
