Job Summary and Qualifications Under the general direction of the Director, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards.

Full-time Nights (7p-7a) plus rotating weekends. Unit: close-knit, collaborative environment; skill growth opportunities leading into NICU; supportive leadership. What qualifications you will need: Graduate of school of nursing required.
BSN preferred. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. BLS (American Heart Association) on hire, PALS certifications within 6 months of hire. 1 year minimum nursing experience required.
Previous clinical experience in area of specialty preferred. Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center.
