Provide compassionate, individualized nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or other conditions requiring intensive rehabilitation. Assess patient needs, monitor medical conditions, and develop care plans focused on recovery, independence, and improved quality of life. Administer medications, manage treatments, and support patients with mobility, daily living activities, and rehabilitation goals.
Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation care. Educate patients and families on recovery strategies, medication management, safety, and transitioning successfully to home or the next level of care. Encourage patient progress and independence while maintaining accurate documentation, promoting patient safety, and supporting a positive team environment.
What We're Looking For Required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the appropriate state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
