✓BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association or American Red Cross Required and
✓ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association Required
Education
✓Associate's Degree Nursing program Required
Bachelor's Degree BSN preferred
Qualifications
✓1-3 years Invasive Cardiology Cath/EP Lab experience preferred, or two-three years critical care/intensive care experience required in lieu of Cath/EP Lab experience Required
✓Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmia.
✓Ability to recognize and interpret normal and abnormal hemodynamic responses.
✓In-depth knowledge of coronary and peripheral artery anatomy, as well as cardiac electrical pathways.
✓Ability to operate complex specialty equipment within Invasive Cardiology Labs with demonstrated competencies
✓Knowledge of techniques, methods and competencies of clinical nursing practices
✓Knowledge of safety principles and infection control in the patient care environment
✓Knowledge of standards, policies and procedures of Denver Health as they pertain to nursing
✓Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team-oriented environment
✓Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations
✓EPIC Skills or other EMR skill required.
Proficiency with MS Office preferred.
