In our dynamic Perinatal Program, we provide excellent patient and family-centered care to high-risk and low-risk patients. Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery: Responsible and accountable for the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. Make clinical judgments and carry out related nursing intervention without supervision.

Apply clinical knowledge regarding standard pattern of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings. Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment making delegation of tasks and documentation. Responsible for care for the patient and delivery team.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN or higher preferred. License/Certification/Registration

Current California State RN License required ACLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross and NRP Certification For RN III: Specialty Certification (external applicants may obtain within one year of hire)

Minimum 3 years recent acute RN experience in Labor and Delivery required. Note: (minimum 1 year recent acute RN experience in Labor and Delivery will be considered for RN II)
