Weekend Option - work every Saturday and Sunday, with rotating holiday schedule What you need to know about this position: Our Medical Surgical Step Down Unit (SDU) is a 13-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4. Patients on this unit could include respiratory failure with BiPAP, sepsis management, severe electrolyte inbalances , post-surgery management of thoracotomies/VATS, wedge resections, vascular procedures and other surgeries.
Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. This position is hourly and is eligible for applicable shift differentials and Sunday/holiday premiums.
In a status of at least 16 hours per week, employees are benefit eligible. What is required for this position: Upon hire, you must have: Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
Within 30 days of hire you must have: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.* Within 60 days of hire you must have: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.* *If you do not have it, CRH provides training & time to acquire certification after employment. This position requires frequent standing, walking, talking and listening and lifting or moving more than 50 lbs.
