The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. Work
On Call/Casual - Pool position - Required to pick up 16 hours per 6-week block. License/Registration/Certification Required: (will be primary source verified by HR) Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License CPR (within 30 days of start date) ACLS-required for all direct patient care RNs Med/Surg and BirthCare-if not certified at time of hire, between year 1 and 2 of start date All other RNs-if not certified at the time of hire, within 1 year of start date PALS, PEARS or ENPC-required for ER, ICU, PACU, SDS If not certified at time of hire, within 1 year of start date TNCC required for ER & ICU If not certified at time of hire, within 1 year of start date Intermediate Fetal Monitoring-required for BirthCare If not certified at time of hire, within 2 years from start date NRP-required for BirthCare If not certified at time of hire, within 1 year of start date STABLE-required for BirthCare If not certified at time of hire, within 2 years from start date *Certifications and mandatory education requirements may be extended by Hutchinson Health during a pandemic.
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
