Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Unit and make a difference for our patients and our community. This unit is a newly opened 12 private bed med-surg unit focused on inpatient medical surgical and cardiac telemetry patients. Therefore, our unit provides a widespread knowledge and experience base for our nurses.

0.60 Nights. All 12 hour shifts; every 3rd weekend Required
-Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or Associate Degree in Nursing and 1 year of RN experience -Internal new graduate applicants can meet minimum requirements with an Associate Degree in Nursing -Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota -CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers -Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and strong ability to work with a wide range of patients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
-BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire -One year of acute care RN experience is strongly preferred -ICU RN experience is strongly preferred
