You’ll need
Licensure
✓Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensure/Or Compact State Licensure - State Licensure/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location - Required within 90 Days
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required within 90 Days
Education
✓Graduate of a school of nursing - Required
BSN - Preferred
Qualifications
✓1 Year - Nursing experience - Required
✓Essential Technical/Motor Skills
✓Must demonstrate precise eye/hand coordination and fine motor skills for IV procedures and ability to give injections, administer medications, change dressings, perform blood pressure checks, and assist with medical procedures; answer phone, data entry.
✓Ability to communicate clearly to patients, providers and staff.
✓Interpersonal Skills
✓Displays a friendly, positive attitude and communicates with patients, families, physicians and co-workers in a professional manner.
✓Ability to communicate both verbally and written.
✓Ability to visually assess patient condition; must be able to communicate with patient in order to assess condition and evaluate effects of care.
✓Visual, hearing, feeling, smell.

About the role
The RN Outpatient works under the supervision of leadership. The RN Outpatient performs patient assessment and follows established standards and practices for nursing care. May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff.
