Registered Nurse (RN) Mom/BabyBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, Texas 75093Work hours: PRN, 7:00pm – 7:00am; 6 shifts per 6 week schedule requiredMother/Baby Department highlights:· 36 bed Mother/Baby Unit· Active Unit-Based Council· Opportunities for personal growth through NCAPHere’s What You Need· Diploma in Nursing or· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required· BSN preferred· One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.· Two years of Mother/Baby experience preferred· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly· NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required and· CPI – Crisis Intervention Training within 90 days and maintained annually required and· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required

· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
