About the Job: The Registered Nurse – Ambulatory is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient setting.
Working collaboratively with providers and interdisciplinary teams, this role supports clinical operations, patient education, and care coordination across in-person, telephone triage, and telehealth encounters. What You’ll Do: Deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across in-person, telephone, and telehealth settings Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care teams to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients on medications, disease management, wellness, and preventive care Support providers during exams, procedures, and treatments Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments; perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection Conduct pre-visit planning to ensure readiness for patient encounters and identify care gaps Accurately document all care within the electronic medical record Delegate tasks appropriately and provide guidance to clinical support staff Respond to urgent and emergent patient situations following established protocols Maintain compliance with HIPAA, safety, and infection control standards Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for peers and new team members Who You Are /
