MINIMUM
Graduate of accredited school of nursing. PREFERRED
Bachelor's Degree MINIMUM
None for Med/Surg and Behavioral Health 1 year in acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis PREFERRED
2 years in acute care for Med/Surg 2 years in psychiatric facility for Behavioral Health 2 years acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse. For RN in Behavioral Health: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into department PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: REQUIRED CCOURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention for Behavioral Health must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
