Our Critical Access Hospital serves our rural community by offering services that include trauma care, in-patient treatment (med/surg), surgical department, and obstetrics (labor and delivery). Essential
Takes nursing histories to provide a basis for developing patient care plans. Completes a thorough nursing assessment and history on admissions. Identifies teaching/learning/discharge needs at time of admission and throughout hospitalization.
Provides an ongoing assessment which accurately reflects physiological and psychosocial needs of the patients. Consistently uses input from patient, family, significant other, physician and healthcare team members. Provides care appropriate for the neonate and the pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients served based on demonstrated knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
Assesses and interprets data on neonate and the pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients' status to identify patients' requirements relative to their age-specific needs and provides care needed as stipulated in the departmental policy. Advantages and
