Full employer posting

Join a highly specialized women’s health team where no two days are the same and your expertise directly supports mothers and babies during critical moments of care. As an OB-GYN ED RN, you’ll provide expert assessment and treatment for patients presenting to the OB-GYN Emergency Department, while also supporting a range of scheduled obstetric and gynecologic procedures. This role blends emergency-level responsiveness with perioperative and procedural nursing, offering a dynamic environment where clinical judgment, collaboration, and compassionate care are essential.

You’ll care for patients across the full continuum—from emergent OB-GYN concerns to planned surgical and procedural interventions.

Assess, triage, and provide direct care for patients presenting to the OB-GYN Emergency Department. Care for patients undergoing scheduled C-sections, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and immediate post-anesthesia (PACU) recovery support. Assist with and support procedures such as external cephalic versions, non-stress tests (NSTs), and cervical cerclage placement or removal.

Collaborate closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, surgical teams, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe, coordinated care. Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond rapidly to changes in condition using strong clinical judgment. Provide patient and family education throughout emergent and procedural care experiences.

Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in real time. Required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or another compact licensure state. Preferred BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Previous OB, Emergency Department, and/or Operating Room experience. Experience Obstetrical nursing experience required. (required)
