Baptist Health is seeking to add a Registered Nurse for our Oncology Progressive Care Unit at Baptist Downtown, located in Jacksonville, FL. Join our newly opened Oncology Progressive Care Unit , specializing in Cellular Therapy and Stem Cell Transplant care. This dedicated 24-room inpatient unit was designed specifically to support patients receiving advanced therapies, including cellular therapy, CAR-T and stem cell transplants.

Responsibilities include: Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement Organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.
