- Perform scrub and circulating responsibilities as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, selecting instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and supporting surgeons during invasive procedures.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient safety, positioning, and before, during, and after surgery while ensuring clinical documentation in EHR systems.
- Assist surgeons with hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure, delivering precise intraoperative support that improves outcomes and reduces complications across surgical procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment, implementing infection control and quality improvement standards to ensure readiness, efficiency, and compliance with perioperative safety protocols. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences: 2 plus years of circulating RN experience. Proficient in multiple surgical specialties including General, Vascular, Thoracic, Robotics, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Neurosurgery.
Experienced working in a trauma hospital environment and adaptable to a fast-paced surgical setting.
