Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Rowan Medical Center is Novant's 4th's largest hospital with 266 beds, serving the Rowan County area since 1936. The ORs here see a variety of cases including ortho, ENT, general, and GYN. This is an ideal role for an experienced PACU RN looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team.

Circulating in the ORPatient positioning during surgeryEnsure equpiment is set up properlyManaging the OR during surgeryUnderstand what the procedures are and what equipment is needed by the surgeon What We're Looking ForEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.

In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

One year relevant experience, preferred. Two years experience in the OR strongly preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
