System & Seasonal 13–26-week assignment at one of our 16 not for profit hospitals-assignments are based on the needs of the system- MUST HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCE OUTSIDE OF OUR LOCAL MARKET TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SEASONAL OFFER. The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments
Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Why BayCare? Registered Nurse license
BLS is required.
ACLS is required
Associates Degree in Nursing
18 months RN experience in an acute OR setting is required
2 years RN experience in an acute OR setting is strongly preferred
Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
