We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse to join our OR Team! The Operating Room Nurse is a professional Registered Nurse who is accountable for the delivery of quality patient care before, during and after surgery.
Some essential job duties include: Assessing, coordinating and participating in the total care of the patient. Assist in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient. Provide accurate care of handling specimens.
Observes and enforces strict standards of practice. Checks and monitors all equipment used during surgery. Education
RN program completion required; BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred
1 – 2 years nursing experience in Operating Room setting.
ME or compact RN license Certification: BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred York Hospital is an equal opportunity employer.
