Just a stone’s throw from the Atlantic Ocean and the New Hampshire border, our community hospital is licensed for 79 beds, maintains six community sites. We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse to join our OR Team! The Operating Room Nurse is a professional Registered Nurse who is accountable for the delivery of quality patient care before, during and after surgery.
Some essential job duties include: Assessing, coordinating and participating in the total care of the patient. Assist in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient. Provide accurate care of handling specimens.
Observes and enforces strict standards of practice. Checks and monitors all equipment used during surgery. Education
RN program completion required; BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred
1 – 2 years nursing experience in Operating Room setting.
ME or compact RN license Certification: BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred York Hospital is an equal opportunity employer.
