Licensure
✓Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing in the State of Kansas or has a work permit from the State Board of Nursing.
Certifications
✓Bachelor Degree Nursing from an accredited college or university or must have plan to obtain BSN approved by chief nursing officer in some cases, the chief nursing officer may approve experience or certifications as a substitute for BSN requirement.
✓Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) - Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)
✓Trauma Care After Resuscitation - Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR)
✓PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 180 Days
✓Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 2 weeks of employment into the role.
Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification (AMB-BC) - American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) preferred
Education
✓Associate Degree Nursing
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of general nursing and practice required.
