Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION 2-3 years recent Adult Operating Room (OR) RN clinical experience Proficiency in open, laparoscopic and intuitive robotic surgery Proficiency in scrubbing surgical procedures Proficiency in circulating duties; call required Experience in General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, OHNS, GU, GYN, Breast/Plastics, Endoscopy Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations Excellent verbal and written skills.
Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently and under pressure. Basic computer skills and general PC knowledge. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION Specialty Certification – CNOR BSN REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
