(Job Summary): The Registered Nurse PACU and Operating Room provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
May float between PreOp, PACU, and OR as needed. Starting
$46 - $58/hr depending on experience
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing Active RN license in CA BLS, ACLS, accredited by AHA 2+ years experience in PACU and OR Circulator preferred Experience in an outpatient surgery center preferred Experience in ophthalmic surgical procedures is a plus Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Korean is a plus Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment Who We Are We are part of a much larger team with United Surgical Partners International (USPI).
