Responsible and accountable for providing and directing individualized care from infant to geriatric patients based on established standards of nursing practice. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through clinical knowledge and skills. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the surgical setting while promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel in other departments.
Education and Experience Minimum Required
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse Preferred
BSN
A minimum of 1 year of PACU or critical care experience highly preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current nursing license to practice in the state of Virginia. Must obtain BLS certification upon hire.
Education Associates (required) Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Saving (required) Registered Nurse (required) Experience RN experience in PACU (required)
