Three 12 hour shifts with call
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the healthcare needs of assigned patientsDelivering care to patients across the lifespan, from infants to geriatrics, unless otherwise specifiedCollaborating closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to meet hospital and unit goalsDelivering care in accordance with established standards and departmental guidelinesFlexibility to float to other comparable nursing units as needed What We're Looking ForEducation: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
One year relevant experience, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Successful completion of the nursing service orientation programCompletion of IV Therapy training or demonstration of IV competency within one yearAnnual participation in Skills Fair and completion of required competency checklistsMaintains department-specific competencies and/or certificationsBCLS and ACLS certifications required at hireAdvanced certification in specialty field and/or active membership in professional organizations encourage Why Choose Novant Health?
